When we sold our old home and bought a new home during last summer and fall, we were fortunate to find Wendy Murphy at Re/MAX to help us out! My wife and I both work full time, and with four kids and two dogs, our lives can be hectic, to say the least. Selling and buying a home can be stressful and time consuming, but Wendy had the knowledge, motivation, and cool hand at the helm to help us through the myriad details and negotiating steps.
On the selling side, Wendy was able to use her skills and the extensive resources at Re/MAX to present our home in the best light possible to the widest possible audience, and was able to bring in qualified buyers, even in a difficult market. She helped us determine a fair price for our home, and was up front and honest in suggesting ways we could improve our chances as sellers. She even helped us arrange and decorate our rooms, and bought flowers and seasonal decorations to make our home more attractive! Time and again, Wendy went above and beyond our highest expectations.
On the buying side, Wendy really listened to what we were looking for, and came to understand our needs at a very personal level. She listened to all of us: me, my wife, my kids, and was able to steer us towards properties that worked for us. When one or another of my children had questions or concerns about the move, Wendy helped answer their questions in very empathetic and compassionate ways. When it came to negotiating with the sellers, she was equally forward and clear about expectations and agreements on both sides, driving the discussions and interceding on our behalf. The most important thing, of course, is that in the end, the home we bought is perfect for us! My wife and I are delighted, and my kids feel very much at home.

The apartment finally got rented and we were home free!!
We LOVE the house!!! Derek is becoming a master at the irrigation system and I'm loving the nearby trails for my upcoming marathon. We're hoping to paint in June (good-bye to the ladybugs!) and we are big fans of our neighbors. We could not ask for better placement at this point in our lives, thank you for that.
Also...we got the puppy!! Her name is Lilly (attached), a shepard/lab mix rescued from Virginia. She's about 5 months now and enrolled in puppy classes at the animal hospital of nashua (which is great!) She's really completed the home and made it her own by peeing all over the blue rug downstairs (which will be ripped up before too long). She's learning and we love her like crazy.
